What is Pilates?

Pilates is a body-conditioning exercise. It helps to reshape your body by strengthening deep core postural muscles, bringing it into correct alignment and improving your posture. Pilates is the perfect balance for strength, flexibility and relieving tension.

Its also great for the mind-body connection as it teaches you to become aware and control the body and even a great tool for relaxation. Pilates is built round many key principles including: Breathing, Core Control and Axial Elongation, Head, Neck and Shoulder Organisation, Spine Articulation, Weight-Bearing and Alignment of the Extremities and Movement Integration.
